Things did not go according to plan last week with my menu plan, so most of what I didn’t get to make last week is on the schedule for this week.
Tuesday: chicken and vegetables (Fix It and Forget It, page 169) over rice
Wednesday: cream of carrot-cheddar soup (More-With-Less, page 204) with salad
Thursday: we will be having pork and sauerkraut at my parent’s house for lunch, so I’ll just be making sandwiches for supper. I am taking some leftover desserts to my parent’s for lunch – truffles, peppermint bark, and peanut butter cups.
Friday: pasta w/ olive oil, herbs and spices, and steamed veggies
Saturday: homemade pizza and salad
Sunday: at lunch we are going to a family get together, which I am supposed to make a hot and a cold dish for. I think I’ll make deviled eggs maybe a fruit salad. For supper, we’ll have eggs or egg sandwiches.
Monday: glazed pork chops (Quick Cooking Jan/Feb 2001 magazine, page 8 ) and steamed veggies

Homemade Pizza is a popular one with the MPM participants. I enjoy having it too. Everyone gets to put on what they want.
