Price Adjustment

A few months ago, we purchased a high priced item at Costco. When we were at Costco last week, my husband noticed that this item is now $400 less than what we originally paid. He later called Costco to see what their price adjustment policy is. He was told that as long as this item is still in stock, he could receive the difference back. Thankfully there was one in stock. We put the $400 right in the bank!

When you purchase high ticket items, watch to see if the price goes down or if it goes on sale shortly after you purchase it. If so, then check with the store to find out what their policy is – you just may be able to get money back.

Good for you. This just makes me happy that you were able to do that. We are too often reluctant to ask for things and this just proves that we shouldn’t be.
