Charter Day: Free Museum Admission

March 6, 2009 at 4:32 pm Leave a comment

Today a friend of mine asked me if I knew anything about free admission to some local museums this Sunday. I didn’t, but said I’d search online to see what I could find.

Sunday, March 8 is our state’s birthday (Pennsylvania) and some museums are offering free admission to celebrate this day. From what I can tell, there are three museums participating in this in Lancaster County. They are: Landis Valley Museum, Railroad Museum of PA, and Ephrata Cloister.

If you live in PA, but not in Lancaster County, check out Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission to see if museums are offering free admissions in your area.
