Works for Me Wednesday – Keep Old Towels

When our bath towels become worn out or stained, we stop using them as towels and add them to the old towel stack in the bathroom closet. They come in handy to dry off the dog after his bath, wipe up spills in the bathroom or kitchen, and also rags. Our dishwasher has overflowed twice, and both times, I used tons of our old towels. I was so glad I kept them. Kitchen towels are best used as rags for cleaning, since they are smaller. There is a plastic container on top of our dryer that I put all dirty rags into, and then wash them all together, since I don’t want them contaminating our clothes.

Great idea! Reduce, reuse, recycle, right?

We do that too! They also came in handy when we moved because we used them for padding!
