About Me

My name is Trish and I started this blog to share ideas and link to good articles on saving money, healthy eating, and other ways to live frugally. I also love to read, so I mention books on a regular basis. I don’t feel that I come up with that many ideas, but I am always reading about new things and love to be able to share them, hoping that are helpful to someone!

I am married; we have two sons, our firstborn is in second grade and our younger son is in first grade and was adopted from the Philippines in February 2010.

Currently, I am at stay-at-home mom, which is definitely a full time (or more) job! Some of my hobbies include: reading, baking, walking, sewing, watching TV, listening to music, listening to podcasts, playing video games (PS2), playing board games (Settlers of Catan, Goa, Alhambra), and spending time with family and friends.

I really like the clean look of your blog.Embarrassed to tell you we didn’t learn the first time with the patio umbrella, thanks for the reminder.
