Almost every year, I end up with several extra calendars I received for free from local stores. This year, I decided to use one of these extra calendars to write down my meal plans. Each week, when I plan my weekly menu, I just take out my meal calendar and fill in a daily meal and what cookbook or website each recipe is from. This calendar is a little smaller than our regular calendar, so I hang it behind our regular calendar. My meal calendar is easy accessible, as well as hidden.

Monday: super simple bean and cheese burritos, salad
Tuesday: popcorn chicken, salad or steamed veggies
Wednesday: simple split pea soup and sweet potato bread
Thursday: ham and scalloped potatoes, salad or steamed veggies
Friday: beef stroganoff, steamed veggies
Sunday: eggs or homemade pizza
